There aren’t many folks out there who write consistently well about compliance issues and, on that short list, Thomas Fox is one of my favorites. He covers everything from the high level strategic issues to front-line tactical matters – as well as everything in-between – in a way that is simultaneously engaging, informative, and practical. So, I was thrilled when he asked if he could interview me for his top-notch FCPA Compliance and Ethics Report.
Our first interview has turned into episode number 101 and it can be found here. This was, as much as anything, simply a chat about what I do in the worlds of ethics, compliance, and accountability. To my chagrin, we even ended up talking a bit at the end about my ‘secret career’ in music. (I guess it’s not such a secret anymore!)
Our plan is to pick up on this conversation from time to time and dig more into some of the ideas, tools, and resources he and I can both recommend for creating and maintaining cultures of ethics, compliance, and accountability. Stay tuned. I’m not sure how often we’ll be doing this but I suspect each episode will be a good one.
In the meantime, let me recommend keeping up with Tom’s blog. He can also be followed on Twitter at @tfoxlaw. (And, oh by the way… if you aren’t following me on Twitter, I hope you’ll choose to. I’m at @ethicstweet and @TheTrustFoundry).
