Those of you who have come to this site intentionally have probably heard me speak on business ethics and values or values-driven business. Or perhaps you have been a subscriber to my Weekly Ethics Thought. If so, you have a running start on knowing my point of view! (And if you have stumbled onto this site accidentally, it probably won’t take you to long to catch up with the others…)
And, if you’d like to know more about me and what I do, there’s plenty to be found at www.bauerethicsseminars.com.
My number one goal here will be to provide information on how to maximize your success by setting up a business environment in which values and ethics consciously and persistently drive everything else. My second goal is to stimulate discussion on wide array of topics related to ethics, achievement, and the bottom line.
For those of you who don’t know me, I am neither a philosopher or business theorist so don’t look for any academic discussions here. My background is in psychology and my expertise and interests are in the areas of motivation, effective self-monitoring, and maximizing achievement.
How often will I blog? I have no idea at this point though I will continue to publish the Weekly Ethics Thought and perhaps post those here once in a while as well. I expect that I will publish here on a much less predictable schedule but expect to post on a far wider range of topics than in the Weekly Ethics Thought. However much or little I post here, though, I want to thank all of you many folks who have been pushing me to blog for so long. (I suppose the lesson may be to careful what you ask for!)
I hope you’ll check back soon as I expect the ‘real’ posts to start rolling in soon!
